What it does
job-hunter finds new postings every morning, scores them against your own profile and writes a short German cover letter with AI. Everything ends up in a web dashboard with a tracker and in a native macOS app. Your data stays on your own Mac and server.
Highlights
- Sources: the Bundesagentur für Arbeit API, optionally Adzuna and RSS feeds; duplicates are removed
- Scoring from 0 to 100 by keywords, job title, location or remote, and salary
- AI cover letters using only facts from your profile and the posting; drafts with placeholders or invented numbers are discarded
- Strict safety rules for automatic sending: test mode by default, at most 5 per day, minimum score 80, never the same company twice within 90 days
- No bots on job boards: job-alert e-mails are imported read-only from Apple Mail instead
