What it does
FamigliaOS aims to bring calendar, tasks, meal planning and more for the whole family into one place – as a self-hosted app in a single container. Nextcloud stays the source of truth for calendar and contacts; FamigliaOS adds a smart layer on top.
Highlights
- Mobile-first PWA, installable on iPhone, Android and desktop, with an offline read-only mode
- Kitchen wallboard as a full-screen page with rotating views and a device token instead of a personal login
- Chores with points and rewards for kids (planned)
- Local-first AI: Ollama by default, OpenAI-compatible providers as a fallback
- Stack: Node 22 with Express, SQLite in a single file, Docker; your data stays with you

Status
Early stage: version 0.1 (server, API, Nextcloud sync, wallboard, PWA shell). More modules are on the roadmap.
