What it does
ACE Studio is a SwiftUI front-end for a local ACE-Step 1.5 install: you describe a song, the app writes lyrics and style, drives the engine and keeps the generated tracks in a library – entirely on your own machine.
Highlights
- Simple mode (a description is enough) and Custom mode with your own style tags, lyrics, BPM, key, seed, duration and voice
- Library with playback, likes, renaming and a lyrics view; cover art procedural or AI-generated
- Lyrics via the IONOS AI Model Hub, or add your own model (Claude, Grok, OpenRouter, Groq, Gemini, Mistral, DeepSeek, OpenAI or any OpenAI-compatible server); API keys are kept in the macOS Keychain
- Tuned to run on 16 GB machines: MLX DiT and VAE in fp16, batch 1
- RAM-aware engine management: memory-hungry background services are paused while generating
