The office morning.
One click and n8n sorts your working day: the workflow reads appointments, Deck cards, new files and the team chat from Nextcloud, an AI writes the briefing with the three priorities of the day, and then n8n really creates things in Nextcloud: a card, a file and a focus-time event.
🔒 It works in a sealed-off demo area: its own calendar, its own Deck board, its own folder, fictional data of Musterbüro GmbH. Nobody sees real data here.

How it works
- WebhookYour click starts an n8n workflow on my server. The page sends nothing else.
- Fix the demo areaA Code node defines where the workflow may read and write: one calendar, one Deck board, one folder, one Talk room. Every URL is checked against it.
- Six requests at onceCalDAV REPORT fetches today's and tomorrow's appointments (recurring ones already expanded), the Deck API the cards, two WebDAV PROPFINDs the files and briefings, the Talk API the chat.
- Read the office situationA Code node sorts: what is overdue, what is due today, which files are new, where is the first free hour in the calendar?
- AI assistantA language model hosted at IONOS in Germany writes the three priorities, a buffer, what to delegate and a tip. If it does not answer, n8n sorts the day itself.
- WriteDeck API: a card «Heute: Top 3» with a checklist. WebDAV PUT: Briefing-date.md in the Briefings folder. CalDAV PUT: a «Fokuszeit» event in the first gap.
- Clean upSo nothing piles up, the workflow deletes older cards, briefings and focus times it created itself. The last 5 always stay.
- IngestThe result lands on the server as JSON, and this page builds the desk from it.
Privacy: nothing of yours is sent to Nextcloud, the workflow only works with the fictional demo data. The result is stored (with no link to you) so the share link works, plus, for the hourly limit, a salted hash of your IP address for at most one hour. More in the privacy policy
To keep Nextcloud relaxed: 20 seconds between two mornings, three per hour and visitor, 100 per day.
